Father’s day is on its way and Dad is probably looking a bit frazzled. By now all the rest and relaxation gained from that last family holiday has worn off and Dad is now burning both sides of the candle to keep up with this year’s demands.
But who are we really kidding? Dad didn’t get much time off anyway during the holidays. Holidays are a stressful business for Dads- trying to crow-bar all the family ‘essentials‘ into the car, kids yammering non-stop from the backseat, cracking a shin in the dark of an unfamiliar holiday house and trying to avoid Lego-Landmines whilst looking for the favorite pacifier.
For all of Dads trouble and effort he is traditionally rewarded with a tie, pair of socks and underpants or any number of toiletries. What Dad really deserves is some time off to relax and collect himself, to reflect and feel like he has recaptured some quality time with himself first.
So after the morning coffee has been drunk, the special breakfast sampled and noises of appreciation duly made, don’t put Dad back on duty, send him off to Ginkgo Spa for a massage treatment. The Ginkgo “De-Stress-Express” is the perfect gift for Dad.
Dad gets one hour and twenty minutes of total relaxation and all that built up stress melts away under the expert touch of the massage therapist. If you want to make Dad feel really special drop him off at the Spa, and once the massage treatment is complete, take him out to lunch. You can put Dad back on duty again in the afternoon, but Dad won’t mind as he will be feeling refreshed, calm and relaxed after the massage and some quality time with his family.
