How to spoil someone in Cape Town when you are overseas

Christmas is coming fast, you can’t miss it for all the bunting and music in the shops. So the thoughts turn to loved ones overseas and the time that we will miss with them over the festive season. However nice it is to have a family gathering especially in Cape Town, traveling expenses, everyone’s conflicting schedules and available time often make this difficult. But, your lack of attendance doesn’t mean that you can skip the presents this time. Perhaps the absence and the distance means that the gift should be even more special and thoughtful.

However, buying a present from overseas for someone in Cape Town can be a difficult and expensive process. If it is bought from a local shop there is postage to consider which could well cost more than the actual gift. There is also the worry that the gift may not arrive in time or at all.

Alternatively asking a relative or friend in Cape Town to get something on your behalf could work, but this means that your thoughtfulness is lost to the intended recipient. Or you could arrange to buy something from a supplier in Cape Town but once again your thoughtfulness is lost in the hands of the delivery guy dropping off an unwrapped box.

Spa gift vouchers are a great way to really spoil someone in Cape Town for Christmas, on their birthday or just because you miss them. The vouchers have a message section that is handy for telling someone how much you miss them and how much they mean to you. Once your heartfelt message has been added to the voucher it gets emailed directly to the intended recipient (or you can send it to yourself to send closer to Christmas or the birthday).  It also means that there is one more gift taken care of and you no longer have to hunt online or in the shops to find something nice.
